John Van Benschoten (JVB) became the Manager of Athletic Compliance Operations at Notre Dame College in July, 2013. Previously, John served in compliance departments at both the University of Cincinnati and Niagara University. Â
In November of 2015, JVB was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director.Â
In addition to Athletic Compliance, John has over 20 years of coaching experience in women’s basketball. Collegiately, John has coached at both Wilmington College and the College of Mt. St. Joseph. John has served in high school coaching capacities in both Ohio and Arizona.
John earned a Masters of Education degree in Sports Management from Xavier University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University.
John and his wife Valerie have 3 children (Caroline, John, and Lyndsay), and 5 grandchildren.
