Earl Peterson is set to enter his Second season as the Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track & Field coach in 2013-14. He was originally named Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach in December 2011 and promoted to his current position in August 2012.

Already under his direction, Notre Dame College has made great strides towards becoming one of the nation’s premier programs, producing Five National Qualifiers, Two All-Region selections, One CoSIDA 1st Team All-Academic Team, Thirteen School Records, Three Conference Champions and a ranking as high as 27th in the Nation.

Peterson came to College Road after being an assistant with two different NCAA programs that he helped turned into top competitive programs at Wittenberg University (2010-11) and UW-Whitewater (2007-10).

In addition to his NCAA success, Peterson owns a personal training and nutritional consulting business in which has helped produce numerous Conference champions, State champions, National qualifiers, National champions, Boston Marathon qualifiers, and Professional athletes.

As a student-athlete, Peterson excelled both athletically, and academically.  He made the UWW Dean’s List and the National Dean’s List from 2005-09.  In addition, he was a three year letter winner in the Decathlon and High Jump Events in which he was named to the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s All Conference team in 2005 and 2006.

A Winneconne, Wisconsin native, Peterson earned a Bachelor’s and Master Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He resides in Euclid, Ohio.
