Biography

2018: Started all 14 games... Recorded 88 tackles, including 45 solo stops... Tallied 8.0 tackles for a loss that included 2.0 sacks... Broke up four passes, recovered two fumbles and caused one fumble... Ends NDC career ranking second in unassisted tackles (110), fourth in total tackles (197) and fifth in forced fumbles (4)... Named All-MEC Honorable Mention. 

2017: Started all 11 games... Led NDC with 64 tackles... Recorded eight tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks and one force fumble... Defended five passes, including one interception returned for 22 yards... Named First Team All-MEC.

2016: Competed in all 11 games... Recorded 39 tackles, including five tackles for a loss and one sack... Broke up two passes... Forced one fumble.

2015: Played in four games for the Falcons on defense ... Forced and recovered a fumble on Sept. 3 against Charleston returning it for 34 yards ... Had an interception in that same game versus Charleston ... Finished the season with six total tackles ... Had a career-high five tackles in that Sept. 3 game.

2014: Redshirted. 

High School: Capped his senior season at LaSalle HS in Cincinnati with 48 tackles and 3.5 sacks for Head Coach Nate Moore in the Greater Catholic League.

Personal: Son of Carla and Robert Goodwin.
