Biography

2015: Named to the All-MEC Second Team ... Appeared in all 11 games at kicker for the Falcons ... Kicked a career-high 13 field goals ... Converted on 47 of 48 PATs ... Hit a season-long 36 yard field goal on Oct. 10 against West Virginia State.

2014: Earned MEC Special Teams Player of the Week honors after making four field goals, in a Sept. 20 victory over WV Wesleyan...on the year, hit 10 field goals, two from 40 yards, and hit 42 of 46 PATs. 

2013: Converted 7-of-9 field goal attempts, with along of 37...averaged 54.9 yards per kickoff, including five touchbacks. 

Prior to NDC: Coming off a senior season that included an 8-of-11 mark on field goals at Darby HS and a First Team All-Ohio Capital Conference selection … played two years of football for Head Coach John Santagata and four years of prep soccer … key member of Santagata’s 2012 squad that went 11-1 … on the Darby Honor Roll and earned the school’s Academic Excellence Award … son of Phillip Kaplan and Janet Kaplan.
