Sutton joined the Notre Dame coaching staff prior to the 2009 season. He was the Running Backs coach for the program’s first season, and will serve as the Tight Ends coach in 2010. Prior to joining Notre Dame, Sutton served one year as an assistant coach at Walsh Jesuit High School in Canton.
Sutton was a three-year letter winner at Baldwin-Wallace College from 1999-2004. He attended Massilon Perry High School, where he was a three-year starter. While at Massilon Perry, he was a two-time All Conference performer, and during his senior season he made the All County team, was named team MVP, and earned all state honorable mention.
The Canton, Ohio, native currently lives in South Euclid with his wife Kelly.
