Mike Cook joined the Notre Dame coaching staff in August of 2015. He joined Notre Dame after spending the 2014 season as an assistant coach and Special Teams Coordinator for St. Ed's. In his one year with St. Ed's, they went 13-2, won the State Championship, while ranked third in the country.Â
Prior to coaching at St. Ed's, Cook spent the previous two seasons with John Carroll. While with the Blue Streaks, Cook served as the Linebackers Coach, and Special Teams Coordinator. He coached an All-America kicker and a finalist for the Fred Mitchell Award, two All-OAC linebackers, and a Gene Slaughter Award winner.Â
The Canton, Ohio, native lives in University Heights with his wife Anna, and their daughter Isabella.Â
