Notre Dame College Athletics

Ja’Wan Poole joined the Notre Dame College football program as the team's Wide Receivers Coach in the fall of 2020. 

Previously, Poole served as the Running Backs Coach/Co-Offensive Coordinator at North Point High School in Waldorf, Md. where he helped propel the backs to rush for over 3,000 yards and 28 TD's in 2019. The backs averaged 275 yards per game and aided an offense who scored 40 points per game in 2019.

Before his stop at North Point High School, Poole was the Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Backs Coach at Lackey High School in Waldorf, Md. from 2016-2018. He helped propel a Lackey team to the State Semis in the 2016-17 season.

Poole played collegiately at Hampton University from 2011-2012 as an Outside Linebacker. Following his stop there, he transferred and began his coaching career at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology in 2015.
