Notre Dame College Athletics

Welo has been part of the Falcon Football coaching staff since the program’s inception in 2009. Welo joined the staff as a graduate assistant, and will serve as the Running Backs coach in 2010.

Welo was a running back and wide receiver for St. Ignatius, and played a crucial role on their 2001 state championship team. Welo attended John Carroll University, where he was a slot receiver and a kick returner for the Blue Streaks from 2004-2007.

The South Euclid, Ohio, native currently resides in South Euclid.
