High School: Participated in baseball at Jackson High School... Was a two-time Federal League champion and a two-time Canton-District Champion... Finished at the top of the OHSBCA State Poll in 2016.

Personal: Son of Lisa and Michael Balla... Double majoring in communications and public relations with a minor in coaching.
