Prior to NDC: Earned four varsity letters as a Middle Infielder for Head Coach Mike Chuppa and the Indians of Copley High School...prior to his senior season with the Indians, Ferguson was named team captain...named first team All-Suburban League and team MVP (2010)...Second team All-Suburban League (2009) Honorable Mention All-Suburban League (2008)...also earned three varsity letters playing Golf for the Indians...was a member of Natiuonal Honors Societyand the Spanish Club at CHS..majoring in Management Information Systems...Ferguson's brother, Phil, was a member of the Track and Field team at the University of Akron from 2008-2011...son of Phil Ferguson and Denise Tanksley.
