Biography

2018: Named to the All-MEC Academic Team.

2017: Played as a catcher in his third season, playing in 20 games and making 17 starts... Recorded a .254 batting average with 15 hits... Added 11 RBIs and six runs... Hit two doubles and two home runs... Earned Academic All-MEC honors.

2016: Was a key cog in the back end of the bullpen, making 19 relief appearances on the season and was second on the team with three saves... Went 3-1 on the year and posted a 3.09 ERA over 32 innings of work with 26 strikeouts. 

2015: Made 14 relief appearances... Had a record of 2-2, with a 2.60 ERA... Recorded one save.

High School: Participated in baseball at Brookside... Earned First Team All-Lorain County honors in 2013 after leading the Cardinals with a .377 batting average... Named First Team All-Patriot Athletic Conference.

Personal: Son of Laurie and Kirk Seekins... Majoring in U.S. Intelligence.
