Biography

Career: Notre Dame's career leader in home runs (12) and slugging percentage (.562) ... ranks in program Top-5 in 11 offensive categories.

2008 (Junior):
Played in 45 games and batted .336/.394/.550 ... had a team-high 77 total bases on the strength of nine doubles, three triples and five home runs ... was 10-of-12 in stolen bases ... batted .417 (15-for-36) when leading off an inning ... batted .333 (16-for-48) with runners in scoring position ...  started five games on the mound and posted a 2.97 ERA in 30.1 innings ... held Falcon foes to a .228 batting average ... tossed nine innings in a complete game loss against Malone on 4/15 ... batted .500 (19-for-38) over the Falcons last 11 games ... went 3-for-4 with four RBIs, two runs scored, a home run and a stolen base against Walsh on 5/2.

2006 (Freshman):
Belted an NDC single-season record seven home runs …hit .358/.404/.572 with 16 extra base hits …stole 12 bases in 13 attempts and was named First Team All-AMC.

Prior to NDC: Transferred back to NDC from St. Leo University; Sito spent his freshman season with the Falcons in 2006 …earned two letters in baseball, six overall for the Elyria Pioneers …was named 1st Team All-Pioneer Conference as a senior after sporting a .382 batting avg. and a 2.91 ERA.

Personal: Jack Anthony Sito ...  born July 18, 1987 ... son of Jack and Jane Sito ... majoring in accounting.
