Prior to NDC: Earned three-letters as a infielder/pitcher for head coach Trent Dues and the Aviators of Vandalia-Butler High School...during his Senior season with the Aviators, Himsworth hit his way to a .363 batting average and recorded a school-record 1.000 fieding percentage (64 putouts, 43 assists) as a middle infielder on a team that lost in the Southwest Ohio Regional Finals...garnered second team All-Greater Western Ohio Conference and Aviators Team Defensive Player of the Year honors after his senior campaign...while at Vandalia-Butler, Himsworth also earned two varsity letters as a soccer player and one varsity letter as a football player...was a member of student council and the Latin club at Vandalia Butler...earned honor roll status each year from 2006-2009...attended Bluffton University from the Fall of 2009-Spring 2010 before enrolling at Notre Dame for the Fall 2010 semester...grandfather Ronald Himsworth played in the Philadelphia Phillies minor league system in the 1950's...majoring in Business Administration and Sport Management...son of Tim and Cindy Himsworth.
