Biography

2020: Pitched in three games and started two before the season was canceled due to COVID-19... In his career, he ranks tied for fifth in NDC history with two shutouts, tied for second with four pick offs and tied for eighth with 25 starts...Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2019: Made 14 appearances, starting 11 games... Went 2-4 on the year with two complete games... Struck out 36 batters in 59.1 innings pitched. 

2018: Pitched in 14 games, making 10 starts... Had a record of 2-8 and threw one shutout... Picked off three runners, tying for third-most in the MEC... Struck out 42 batters. 

2017: Redshirted.

2016: Appeared in nine games and made a pair of starts...went 2-2 with a 6.27 ERA over 18.2 innings of work, striking out 17 batters along the way. 

High School: Participated in baseball and football at Steubenville Catholic Central.

Personal: Son of Dianne and Christopher Murphy... Majoring in sports management.
