Biography

2021: Played 13 games... Made 61 total tackles, ranking third on the team... Had a career-high 12 tackles against W.Va. State on Sept. 25... Totaled 44 solo and 17 assisted tackles... Finished the season with 12 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks... Intercepted three passes, including a pick-6 against Alderson Broaddus on Nov. 13...Named All-MEC Second Team and Academic All-MEC.

2020: Started in five games last year during a shortened season... Collected 27 tackles (14 solo), including 5.5 tackles for a loss... Recorded two sacks...Named All-MEC First Team.

2019: Appeared in 14 games as a junior... Recorded 28 total tackles (16 solo)... Recovered one fumble... Blocked one kick... Recorded a career-high five tackles in the playoff game against Slippery Rock (12/7/19)... Earned a spot on the MEC All-Academic Team for a GPA between 3.7 and 4.0.

2018: Saw action in all 14 games... Recorded 11 solo tackles and six assisted tackles for a total of 17... Forced a fumble and had a pass breakup.

2017: Competed in 10 games in freshman season... Was a crucial special teams player and recorded 11 tackles. 

High School: Participated in football and track & field at River Ridge High School... Named SAC Defensive Player of the Year and North Suncoast Defensive Player of the Year... Holds school record for most sacks in one season... Excelled in the classroom as an SAC Athlete Scholar. 

Personal: Son of Lisa and Edward Spaeth... Intends on majoring in biology.
