Biography

2018: Started all 14 games... Recorded 52 tackles, including 32 solo stops... Tallied 13.5 tackles for a loss that included 11.5 sacks... Broke up five passes forced three fumbles and recovered two fumbles... Ranked seventh in NCAA DII in sacks (11.5)... Ranks second in NDC single-season sacks (11.5) and fifth in NDC career forced fumbles (four)... Earned Third Team All-Region honors... Named Second Team All-MEC.

2017: Competed in all 11 games, making one start... Recorded 34 tackles, including six tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks.

2016: Played all 11 games... Recorded 42 tackles, including 11.5 tackles for a loss and 8.5 sacks... Forced one fumble while recovering a separate fumble... Earned the Falcons two points with a tackle resulting in a safety.

2015: Appeared in seven games throughout the season as a defensive end...finished the year with four tackles, and recovered a pair of fumbles. 

2014: Redshirted. 

High School: Participated in football at John Hay High School… Earned First Team All-Senate League honors.

Personal: Son of Maurice and Carla Ellis... Majoring in criminal justice.
