Biography

2014: Earned Second Team All-MEC honors for the second year in a row...played in all 11 games, and was a force once again up front...finished the season with 47 tackles, nine for a loss, and was second on the team with 6.5 sacks...forced a pair of fumbles, and had one fumble recovery. 

2013: Earned All Mountain East Conference Second Team honors, after tallying 71 tackles, second most on the team, and made 29 solo stops...second on the team with 9 tackles for a loss, and was second on the team with 4.5 sacks. 

Prior to NDC: Transfered from The Citadel … was a three-year letter winner in high school for the Gaither Cowboys in Tampa … was a three-year starter … recognized as an All-8A Conference performer three times and earned All-Florida honors three times as well … son of Derrick Bavol, Sr., and Lisa Spaeth.
