SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – In Notre Dame College's final non-conference game of the season, the Falcons fell to No. 17 ranked Grand Valley State University by a score of 19-2.
The Falcons' defense was locking down Grand Valley State, early in the first quarter. In the first eight minutes, NDC caused two turnovers and allowed just one goal.

Grace Nickoloff put the ball into the back of the net with 2:37 to go in the first.
In the first three minutes of the second quarter, Notre Dame won two draw controls. After GVSU went up 8-1, senior
McKenna Kincaid won the draw and NDC took the ball down into the offensive zone before a timeout was called. Sophomore
Lexington Carson scored the Falcons' second goal of the contest, with 11:04 to go before halftime.
At halftime, the Lakers led NDC, 11-2.

Piper Hammond led Notre Dame with three draw controls and two caused turnovers. Sophomore
Joselyn Storm also won two draw controls. Six different players had one caused turnover for NDC. Goalkeeper
Annika Duncan saved six shots.
The loss on Sunday snaps NDC's three-game win streak.
The Falcons travel to Frostburg State University for a matchup with the Bobcats on April 5. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
