Peyton Wells, however the Notre Dame College women's basketball team (3-9) fell 79-65 to Florida Tech (2-6) on Monday afternoon.
The Panthers sprung to an 18-4 advantage at the 3:35 mark in the first quarter. Florida Tech closed out the frame leading 22-9.
In the second quarter, Tech extended their lead to 40-20 with 1:31 remaining in the half. Imrie netted two of her career-high seven made free throws to close out the stanza, with the Panthers leading 40-23.
Notre Dame ramped up their offense in second half by shooting 8-16 (50.0%) from the field in the third quarter, their best percentage on the day. However, Florida Tech continued to play well, claiming the frame 20-19, to lead 60-42 with 10 minutes to play.
For the second day in a row, NDC battled until the final whistle. The Falcons shot 3-5 from the three-point line in the fourth quarter, scoring 23 points. Despite being outscored, 23-19 in the final 10 minutes, the Panthers claimed the first ever meeting between the two schools, 79-65.
On offense, Notre Dame was led by Imrie's team-high and career-high 17 points scored. Senior

Alana Ellis added 13 points each, as Wells tallied a career-high 11 points on the day.
In addition, Wells corralled a team-high seven rebounds and swiped a team-best three steals, while Imrie led the squad with three assists.
As a team, Notre Dame shot 21-56 (37.5%) from the floor, 5-22 (22.7%) from three and 18-24 (75.0%) from the free throw line.
The Notre Dame College women's basketball team will be back in action on Wednesday Jan. 4 at Frostburg State University for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off.
