SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio – A busy couple of days for Notre Dame College on Normandy Field began with a celebration of the senior class on Sunday. NDC fell to Concord University, 2-1, in game one on Sunday, but bounced back to win game two by a score of 4-3, after sophomore
Sydnie Jarrett hit a three-run triple. On Monday, the Falcons dropped a pair of games against Glenville State College.
In game one against Concord, the Mountain Lions jumped on the board in the first inning. They scored two unearned runs with a single and a groundout.
Senior
Taylor Olson got out of a jam in the fifth inning. After Concord had three base hits and loaded the bases with two outs, Olson got a fly ball to end the inning.
The Falcons got their only run of the contest in the sixth inning. Senior Katelyn Rhuede singled to lead off the bottom half of the inning, she moved to second on a wild pitch and went to third on junior

Olson pitched a complete game, allowing just two unearned runs and struck out three batters.
Concord jumped on the board in the first inning of game two, as well. The Mountain Lions put together a single, sacrifice bunt, single and a stolen base and had runners on second and third. Lauren Richardson singled to score a run and two batters later, Dani Bloomingdale singled to put CU up, 2-0.
The Falcons rallied back in the fourth inning. Rehm, junior
Mikaela Fording and Olson hit three consecutive singles to load the bases. Senior
McKenzie Zigmont singled through the right side to score one run. With two outs and bases loaded, Jarrett entered the game as a pinch hitter. She roped her first career triple to right field, clearing the bases and giving NDC a 4-2 lead.
Lauren Richardson led off the top of the sixth inning with a home run over the center field fence, cutting the NDC lead to one run, 4-3. That would be all Concord would get as Zigmont pitched seven innings and struck out six to pick up her seventh win of the season.
On Monday, Notre Dame scored first against Glenville State. Olson singled to begin the bottom half of the second inning, moved to second base on a ground out and then scored on a single by freshman
Meadow Odum.
Glenville State tied the game when Kaylee Drake and Katelyn Richardson hit back-to-back doubles with two outs in the fourth inning.
In the top of the sixth, a leadoff double and sacrifice bunt put Mackenzie Martinelli on third base. Olson, the NDC pitcher, got out of the inning without surrendering a run.
Katelyn Richardson had the go-ahead home run in the eighth inning, putting the Pioneers up, 2-1.
Olson went eight innings in the pitcher's circle, allowing just two runs and striking out six. Junior
