SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - The Notre Dame College women's soccer team lost 1-0 to Concord in the Mountain East Conference Tournament semifinals on Friday afternoon.
The Falcons and Mountain Lions went into halftime tied 0-0 as the teams combined for four shots, all of which were on goal. The teams would combine for 13 shots in the second half, with CU leading eight to five.
Concord took its 1-0 lead in the 59th minutes as Yasmin Mosby took a shot from 25 yards out to land in the upper right corner of the net.
Notre Dame fought hard throughout the rest of the game, but could not get a shot to go in goal.
Concord will advance to the MEC Championship to play at West Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday.
Notre Dame was honored before the game for winning the Mountain East Conference North Division with a 10-2-1 conference record. The Falcons finish the 2018 season with a 10-6-1 record, earning double-digit wins for the sixth-straight season.
