Coach Dziak has been guiding the Falcons since the 2011-2012 school year. The first five years of his tenure have been marked with success, highlighted by the women's team winning the 2013 Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships.

Since 2011, Dziak's athletes have broken over 60 school records, he has coached 11 conference champions, and his swimmers have achieved 43 Top-3 conference finishes. Sarah Reichman ('14) was honored as the Notre Dame College Female Athlete of the Year. In the classroom, both the men's and women's teams have recognized as All-Academic teams for achieving a 3.0 team GPA.

Prior to his arrival on College Road, Dziak served as the head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan College from 2006-2011. While at WVWC, 16 of his swimmers earned All Bluegrass Mountain Conference honors, 24 school records were set during his tenure, five of his student athletes were national qualifiers, and one of his student athletes earned All-American Honorable Mention honors. Dziak served as an assistant coach at both Michigan State University (2004-2005) and Case Western Reserve University (2003-2004).

Collegiately, Dziak swam for the Spartans of Case Western Reserve University, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Material’s Science and Engineering. During his time at CWRU, Dziak competed in the distance freestyle events and was a captain for the 2001-2002 season. He earned a Master’s in Kinesiology from Michigan State University in 2010.

Mark and his wife Dorothee currently reside in Lakewood.
