Notre Dame College Athletics is experiencing an era of unprecedented growth. Student-athletes now participate in 24 men’s and women’s intercollegiate sports.
In 2012, the Falcons were granted NCAA-II status, after many years of competing as an NCAA-II institution. In 2012-13, they joined the Mountain East Conference.
Falcon Wrestling has produced a number of individual national champions at the NAIA level over the years, and to date, have a pair of NCAA-II national champions. As a team, they won back-to-back NAIA National Championships. Men's soccer made it to the 2010 NAIA National Championship game, and became the first program in school history to play in, and win a game in a National Tournament at the NCAA-II level.
Coinciding with this era of increased success surrounding Notre Dame Athletics is the establishment of the Falcon Club, a new fundraising organization at the College. The organization’s goal is to provide funding to support the developing athletic programs at NDC, as well as enhancing the student-athlete experience for all participants of our teams.
