Notre Dame College sponsors 24 varsity intercollegiate athletic teams. Falcon men’s and women’s teams compete throughout the Great Lakes Region and the nation, and Falcon student-athletes come to College Road from all around Ohio, the Midwest, the nation, and the globe.
The Falcons are a charter member of the newly formed Mountain East Conference.
NDC competes as an NCAA Division II institution, and Falcon athletic teams against fellow DII programs as well as DI, DIII and NAIA programs … and the Falcons are coming out on top:
In recent years, the Blue & White have earned many successes. In 2010 and 2011, the Falcon Wrestling team won back-to-back NAIA National Championships. The Falcons have produced seven individual National Champions in Wrestling (Victer Crenshaw-2007, Adam Koballa-2009, Thomas Straughn, Jeff Pelton, Derek Foore-2010, Dante Rini-2011, Orlando Scales-2011), and one in Track & Field (Michael Mannozzi-2010). In 2010, the men's soccer team was national runner up.
Notre Dame student-athletes have attained All-America status on the playing field and Scholar-Athlete honors in the classroom. Falcon teams have garnered multiple conference championships and national championship appearances.
