NDC to close out tourney trip with 12:30 game against SCAD

DECATUR, Ala. -- Notre Dame will close out its 2010 season on Monday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. ET, when the Falcons take on the Bees of the Sa.vannah College of Art & Design-Ga. (SCAD) .

Both NDC and SCAD head into the game 0-2 thus far in pool play at the 2010 NAIA National Championship Tournament.  The other two teams in Pool B (Lee-Tenn. and Trevecca-Tenn.) will meet at 5:30 p.m. to decide which team will advance to the tournament's eight-team championship bracket.  Monday's games were all originally scheduled for Saturday, May 22, but rains on Friday forced a reshuffling of the schedules involving the 32 teams split into eight groups for opening-round pool play at the Wilson Morgan Softball Complex.

The Falcons (25-26) and Bees (35-17) have met once before this season: NDC lost, 9-6, at SCAD on Feb. 28.
