Fadil finds a home on College Road

Standout bowler signs on with start-up Falcons

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Notre Dame Men's Bowling announced today that Nicholas Fadil has signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to continue his bowling career with the Falcons.

Fadil will be heading to College Road as a transfer student from Cuyahoga Community College. He is originally from Parma, Ohio, where he was a three-year standout for Valley Forge High School. In his senior season for the Patriots (2007-08), Fadil carried an average of 210 and qualified for nationals.

Bowling for Head Coach Randy Fox, Fadil averaged 188 as a sophomore (2005-06) and 197 as a junior (2006-07).

The Parma native expressed his interest involved in the founding of the Falcons' fledgling program: “I heard NDC was starting a varsity bowling program, and I wanted to be a part of it.”

The son of David Fadil and Pamela Garnes plans on beginning classes at Notre Dame in the fall and studying political science.

The development of a Men's Bowling program at Notre Dame College was announced on Nov. 25. For information about the program, log onto www.NotreDameFalcons.com.
